1985 Mercury Black Max 150 Compression Test

I did a compression test on my 85 Merc BM 150 V6. All the cylinders are 70 psi. My question is, Is that a normal reading for this motor or is it to low? What would be the next thing to check out to get the psi higher?

Test with another GOOD gauge.

It's a new gauge.

Then remove a cylinder head to inspect head gasket and cylinder walls.----70 PSI is a motor that needs a lot of "first aid " and bandages.---Also get help from an MD-----That being a motor doctor !
