1985 E150STLCO Shift Rod height

Can someone help me with the shift rod height for a 1985 Evinrude XP150 (E150STLCO). I have found various threads for earlier or different HP but can't find this year/model.

Thanks for confirming height. I had attempted to use that measurement but maybe it wasn't close enough even though I used a metal framing square. My assumption is that measurement is taken from the mating surface of the LU to the center of the hole in the shift rod.

I just replace the clutch dog and reverse gear because of wear and not having reverse but currently still not getting reverse after replacement.

I guess there is something wrong with the work you did .----Or your cable adjustment is off.----Or there is something wrong in the control box.----Should not be hard to figure out.----That is the shift rod measurement from the list I found.

I will give all those things a closer look. That is certainly easier the dropping the LU again.
