I just R&R'd my carb and put everything back together Carb, solenoid, starter assembly, primer solenoid.
So when I turn the key...why is the starter gear spinning/grinding ***under*** the flywheel?
It appears that the gear on the starter is located just a 1/16" too deep in, under the flywheel...so it can't jump up to engage.
And it was a tough job reinstalling / lining up the bolts on the starter assy to the block, for some reason, so I'm concerned I did something wrong and now the starter gear can't jump up to engage with the teeth of the fly.
Anyone have any experience with this model, is there an adjustment I should be aware of?
Many thanks
