Looking for a little direction, Is there a bracket that holds the coils and power pack or do they bolt direct to the cyl head and crankcase

The coils bolt to the cylinder head and the power pack to the engine block.

It is possible that an older powerhead has been bolted on.-----Pictures , pictures makes it easier to figure out.------Reason for this question is ??
