1979 402 Mercury Outboard Control box problems

i think my motor is a 1979

Serial #- 5041721


im having trouble finding anything for this motor

i bought the boat and the control box was in shambles so i bought a parts motor that came with a control box
but i have no key so i need help finding and ignition for it or if there are ways i could possibly hook up a push to start sort of deal


the motor seems to be in really good condition 135 psi compression on both cylinders
just need a little help on the control box/ignition any expertise would help thanks!!
 
motor might be a 76 idk

i see i might be able to just buy a key for it if i could get some expertise on to which ones i need
 
There should be a sticker on the switch (inside the box) with the key Nr. on it that will match a key. or you could take it to a dealer that has keys to try.
