I have a 1979 Johnson Javelin 100 hp that has been converted to a jet drive. Due to the wear in the jet and the poor performance in ice, I am in the process of converting back to a prop. Has anyone ever removed a jet drive? I only see one bolt on the whole drive. I am not sure if you have to pull the bell of the jet and then remove the impeller to expose the rest of the bolts? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
