Just broke out a Johnson 55hp 55EL78S ( new to me ). Compression good, 160 #1 #2 , good spark, fuel good, pump good, new spark plugs. Starts fine but tends to stall on initial idle, bogs slightly upon full throttle. It does idle fine once running (perhaps to low of RPM?) , but is there anything I can do to improve performance? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
