Hey how are you all, I have had these mariner motors made in Yamaha's workshop in 1977 and have 3 spare motors cracked down to spares. Recently I had an issue with the bottom coil. The lead running from the coil to the Terminal Assembly plate. Now the first two connections are black wire 1 and 2 and grey and Orange corresponds with each other BUT which is the 1 pot or two pot. So my delimemar is that which one is top and bottom or does it need to and can be either I have the complete workshop manual and it doesn't say, so hope fully someone can shred some light please, Wazza
