"This engine sometimes runs great at full throttle but will not get up to correct plane and rpms after running at slow speed for a while. Engine seems to struggle to get to top end at times. fresh gas, new gas line, clean carb. Ive had to pump the hose bulb a couple times to keep it going.Is it possible to have a weak fuel pump perform this way?"

or could be the fuel pump diaphram has some small holes in it causing the cyl's to load up a bit causeing it to get up to speed slowly."
