Hi all. Just joined this forum and glad to be here! I purchased a boat recently. It came with a 1975 evinrude 115 hp outboard (115593). Some mice had got to the motor so as you can imagine I will be replacing some electrical parts and doing some rewiring. The motor surfaces has some rust/corrosion on it. I was wondering if anyone knows if this motor came with anodes and where would they be located ?? The rust/corrosion is only on the surface of the motor. Internally the motor looks fine. Any ideas on the anodes ?? I live in ohio so I'm at least 500 miles from the nearest salt water. Do I need the anodes ?? Thanks for any help !
