"I just got a 1974 merc 40 h.p. from a guy with what he thought was a bad impeller. I took the l/u off and it does indeed need a new impeller. Theres a # on the impeller which reads - 47-89983, does anyone know the manuf. of this or know of another that would fit. I also would like to know what this tube is coming out of my l/u, it has a little plug on the end of it. Dutch
