1971 50hp electric shift fuel pump

On the '74 model the vacuum pulse connection is the centre one of the 3 holes in the mounting. See THIS DIAGRAM

On the '71 model the pulse connection is via a third hose, #12, in THIS DIAGRAM"

"i have one nipple on manifold but that is drain vent,i looked up diagram on 71 model it shows 2 nipples,i have one nipple and a hole next to it,but it dont go all the way through,will i have to drill and thread,thanx"
