"I have a 1969 OMC 307GM 210hp sterndrive. The engine was rebuilt before I purchased the boat. The previous owner had a low end RV cam installed, HEI distributor with timing set at 10 gegrees, stock intake manifold and an Elderbrock 4 BBL carb. The boat will not get above 2600 RPM's, however, the boat speed is around 19 knots at 2600RPM's. I am running a 14X16 prop. Oh, the boat jumps up to 2600 RPM's with the 4BBL's barely open but does not have any additional power through WOT. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated."
