Start a new thread and post more information.----Picture of where water is coming out.----And during operation or shut down ?---When test running in a bucket water must be at least 6" above the impeller.---Install a new impeller if motor is new to you.

It’s happening when the motor is test running in a bucket of water (6”). We have installed a new impeller, water is coming out about 4 inches above oil level screws where you insert the lower unit oul

We have it running but it’s smoking a lot?
