"Went on 20 mile jaunt, ran well except for occasional miss at speed (5000 RPM) Does this motor have electronic ignition, what are best plugs and gap? I normally buy Champion plugs. NGK B7S plugs looked good when I inspected them, gapped to .035". Should I get the factory service manual or the generic Seloc manual? Ron"
 
Equipped with a simple to main

Equipped with a simple to maintain duel ignition system. The wiss indicatyes tune-up time and these motors had problems with coils cracking and grounding out to the mag-plate.If not already replaced new coils are cheap to replace.

"The ignition is not electronic. Old time reliable magneto. 2 coils, 2 condensers and 2 sets of points.Tune-up means totally different things to most people. To me it means check every thing on the motor any repair as required if the motor is in good condition."
