"I received my manuals but I still need some help. This is for a 1965 Evinrude 33 HP model 33552. I need to find OMC part number 307290 "Hook, Cover to housing". I also need to know what sparkplugs are recommended and if they should still be gapped to .030 as the manual states. And finally, I need to know how to hook a tachometer to this motor.

It calls for J4C champion plug

It calls for J4C champion plugs gaped at 30.
I would use J6C gaped at 40 to give me less fouling at slow speeds and never use NGK plugs in a evenrude or johnson motor. Those engines were designed for champion plugs.
