1965 40hp evinrude.

Hi all, new member here.
I bought a 1965 40hp evinrude and am wanting to get her in the water again. Should I just scrap it or fix her up. The parts I looked at are actually very reasonable.

??---How / why did you acquire this motor ?-----Do a complete evaluation of this motor before spending any beer tokens.-----They are easy to work on.----Easy to maintain.----Most parts are easy to find and affordable.

I paid 20 for it. A friend gave me a stripped down boat and I found it online.
