Hi all, new to this forum. I'm having problems with my 1964 Johnson Sea Horse 9.5 hp. It slips out of forward gear when at low speed unless the shifter is held down; however, it stays in gear on it's own while at WOT. I've been reading on clutch dogs going bad, but it sounds like they generally have the opposite problem, slipping out of gear when at full throttle but not below half throttle. Any helps or pointers would be appreciated. I have tried flushing the lower unit and putting new lube in to no avail. Thanks for your time!
