anybody have part # for 40 hp evinrude bellcrank i looked on the exploded view but i'm confused

Bellcrank ???------where on the motor is it, what does it do.-----------There may be more than one on a 61 --40 HP.

shift linkage at top of upper shift rod under powerhead? what ever u call it my book says bellcrank? is it a clovis?

Could you be speaking of the "shaft clevis" #305583 ??
