1957 7.5 HP Johnson outboard

Getting ready to start to repair the old outboard I got from a friend. I ordered my coils as I can see they are cracked. I have a carb kit. Any other gotchas I need to think about as I prepare for the repair? Thanks in advance!

Water pump impeller. powerhead gasket, 303347 o-ring & 303355 gasket plus any more parts that might be needed for the seal under the powerhead. Might as well replace the o-ring on the shifter handle shaft while you are in there.

Not finding an exact match for Powerhead gasket. Anyone have a P/N? Or would the AD-12 have the same gasket?

Same gasket....Sierra makes one too.
