1954 10 hp johnson

i need to tighten the pivot friction and cant figure out how ther is no friction screw like on my 1956 7.5 hp johnson thanks clay

Look directly under the center front portion of the swivel bracket, just above where the engine sits upon the transom. The screw in right there on many of the older models.
