1951 14hp Evinrude parts

I have a chance to buy a 1951 Evunrude Fastwin 14hp at a very good price. The seller believes it only needs new coils. Can I find parts for this motor?

Yes sir. Very available. I have one here in my shop too, found it in a scrap load going to the recycling. Mint, but missing one side cover.

I tried Marine.com, but they don't list any motor before 1955. Could you give me some sources?

If you are sure it is a 1951, it uses the same coils, points, and condensers as newer motors marinengine is good.

Mdel number is 4441, which is for a 1951 motor.

Yep, 4441 (1951) uses the same ignition as newer motors for at least 20 years. Probably one of the most common magnetos in history. Parts are available just about all over the world.
