175 Johnson gt lean sneeze.

Hello. I have a 1988 Jihnson 175gt model #J175STLCCM. Problem I'm having is a lean sneeze/cough at idle. I can actually see a fine mist come from in between the crankcase mounting surfaces on the bottom of the engine about where the bottom cylinder is( right bottom looking at front of motor).It doesn't sneeze all the time maybe 3-4 times a minute motor never dies. Idle RPM is 700RPM in water. Motor never dies after sneeze. Runs great when in gear and WOT.Compression is 100-105 across all cylinders. All spark plugs look good none seem to be dry. Carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt. VrO pump has been removed and have 2 mechanical fuel pumps connected in series from crankcase. Someone told me I could be the bottom crankcase seal. After motor us run fir a period of time and shutoff I have a oil sheen floating behind me in the water.

Replace bypass cover gaskets and test run.
