15hp Controls?

Hey I’m happy to say I’m new here, just bought a late 70s 15hp Evinrude outboard that I plan to put on a 17ft Bass Boat to fish a lake that has a 15hp restriction. I’ve heard this has been done before but have never seen it. Any help finding used controls and how to install them would be great. Thanks!

Simplex remote control is easy. They were used for years on small motors. BUT you need a remote control adapter kit to connect it to the motor. Here is a sample:

Yep! 1974..... I have one of those that only sparks on one plug, haven't had time or desire to work on it yet.
(Don't mean to be a downer but CD ignition works so much better)
