15 hp Johnson

Does anyone know how I can find the year of this motor
I am not getting any spark I suspect the power pack

Yes, get the model number off the plate on the transom clamp bracket and then SEE HERE

Those are certainly more helpful at finding the year. Wow, thanks. I didn't even know they were there. "What year is my motor?" must be the #1 question asked.

It is a 1979 9.9 hp !
