OK guy's changed a water pump, plugs, fuel filter and engine/lower oil, on a 130 4 stroke and insatlled 2 new batteries with a new Perko switch and low and behold she will not turn over??
If i turn the key to the run position and jump the solenoid starts right up. I read that the O2
sensor can cause this? Thanks for any help!

I am sure it is not the o2 sensor...there is none on the 130.

If the motor does not crank from the keyswitch, the most likely problem is the neutral safety switch on the motor. The motor may think it is in gear.

It could be your starter solinoid, but the neutral safety switch seems like the most likely thing that was disturbed when you changed the water pump.

Forgot to mention...the neutral safety switch is located on the front of the engine down behind the onboard water separator and the fuel filter. If you move your shifter back and forth slowly as you try to start it...if it starts then your shift is out of adjustment. Mike

Thanks for the help guys, it was indeed the nuetral safety switch! Must have knocked it out when removing the water seperator.
THANKS
