100TLR LOWER UNIT

My motor is a 100TLR 2 strokes 1998 20 inch i am looking for a lower unit yamaha don't have it any more i want to know if the 115 TLR is OK to replace

The Yamaha Canada website shows parts catalogs for a 2000 model 100A and a 1998 model 115B.

The gear case housing is the same.

Would appear that the gear case from a 115 can be used on a 100. Presumption being the drive shafts are of the same length.

The parts catalog says it is a long shaft.

Long is 20".

most of lower unit i saw are 20 and 25….!!!
if its 20 " my problem is solved….
