I am trying to remove the side covers on an 04 DF 250 to replace anode and water pressure relief valve. All screws came out with the exception of the top and bottom screws on the rear. The bottom was rounded by previous owner. I'm working on rounding off the top one. There is a knurled nut on one side of the top bolt which I was able to remove. The bolt still will not loosen. Is it threaded through the motor housing or just corroded ? What do you guys recommend ? I considered drilling the head off and try to remove with vice grips once the cover is removed but I don't want to get in trouble not being able to remove and not being able to fasten the covers properly.
