01 4.3 Volvo Penta needs replaced

My Father-in-Law recently gave me his 2001 Stingray CB and the Motor was not winterized and needless to say needs to be replaced. I am looking to see what are my size motors options that I could use to replace it. I have been looking at drop in ready to go 5.7 vovlo . Any help would be greatly appricated.

Ayuh,..... That would require regearing the outdrive,....

Ayuh,..... A '96, or newer long block should be a direct bolt-in replacement,.....
