Model Year of Motor amp Starter Question

" I have a 35hp Evinrude and would like to know the year. The #'s on te transom plate are:35514-28273.
The starter is only working about half of the time; can a new one be purchased(from Napa)? Or does mine just need to be rebuilt?
Any help would be much appreciated !

"Duke.... Your engine is a 1958 35hp Evinrude. I can't answer the question about the starter. Check with NAPA as a starting point. If they can't help you, I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction to solve the problem.
