"I have a 1966 Johnson Seahorse 5hp outboard. Model # LD-11R. Ser. # j2607051. Could someone tell me the proper oil to gas ratio for this motor. Thanks, Sailor Bill"

It'll be 50:1

thats 2.56 oz in 1 gallon (US units)
3.2 oz in 1 Imperial gallon (UK units)
Near enough 1 pint in 6 gallons (US or UK)
20 cm² per litre in the rest of the world.

However if anyone advises a little more oil on the basis of the bearing type I'd go along with it"
