"1990 Carver Santego, twin 4.3

"1990 Carver Santego, twin 4.3 XL's with alpha I's. Stbd drive, removed 6 bolts from outdrive, disconnected trim hyd lines, removed to plate and can see a bearing but can't remove/or free the outdrive from the gimball bracket. Following Clymer and Sealoc manual. Eng is in fwd gear, not speedodimeter cable or oil reservior unit in the way."

No need to remove the hyd lines, just the trim cylinders and I usually leave them on the boat side."

"It's probably stuck. Pull

"It's probably stuck. Pull up on the drive halfway then drop it, while holding on to it. It should pop loose. Make sure you hold on though, in the event it pops all the way. May take a couple tries."
