I am gong to rebuild this moto

I am gong to rebuild this motor. Can someone tell me how to tell a marine distibutor of this vintage from an automotive one? Is there a difference in coils? The carb is marine with the flash suppressor intact. Thanks for any help.

"i suspect so...to indicate marine, it should also have "SAE J1171" on a tag somewhere but that might be long gone."
