All the other motors I've owned had butterfly valves that audibly clicked shut when the choke was activated, so you could hear/see that it was working.     Trim Gauge 2000 Johnson 90hp Model J90VLSIF

    There are three holes in the console of a 2000 Key Largo 180cc that I purchased recently and I think covering those with a trim gauge is probably the most useful option. Any thoughts on how involved the wiring would be? Thanks, Magnet

    Air Silencer Removal 90 hp J90VLSIF

    Need to adjust idle speed fuel mixture on 2000 90 hp J90VLSIF. Air silencer has "bungee cords" securing unit to motor. Lower port cord is extremely hard to access. See red highlights in photo. Is there a special tool required to uninstall/reinstall the air silencer? Thanks, Magnet

    Slow Speed Carb Adjustment 90hp Johnson

    This model has a "bungee cord" means of securing the air silencer to the motor. The lower bungee on the port side (highlighted in red) is extremely difficult to access. Is there a special tool required just to remove/install the silencer?
