    See if you can find the markings on the carburetor and the CDI box. You can then use those numbers to find the applicable part numbers in the Yamaha parts catalog, if you can't find them anywhere else. Might be a greater liklihood of finding parts from Yamaha than from Mercury Marine.

    Were you using a meter set on AC or a meter set on DC with a peak voltage adapter in use? If the former I am thinking the charge coil is outputting sufficient voltage. Leading one to suspect the rectifier regulator.

    Are you seeing oil spray out from the ports in the block that feed the cylinder head? I would be guessing so. If the head is removed and you are still getting that much oil pressure my guess is that it would have to be something on the crank shaft side. how to test if keyboard keys are working
