    1984 60 HP Mariner fuel problems

    starts up and idles fine, when I give it gas the engine boggs down... if I pump the ball it picks back up. Fuel Pump? Thanks for any assist!

    Project boat.... so far I have replaced the stator and trigger assembly (wires were fried) and still no spark.... checked all of the usual suspects: kill circuit, recitfier etc. is the switchbox the logical culprit?

    Haven't pulled the hub yet, just the flywheel.

    Removed the flywheel without marking the alignment with the crank, does it matter what position I put it back to? Thanks for any assistance

    Mariner60 Hp 3 cylinder 1985? Serial Number 6551426

    The wiring diagram in the manual looks like it's a 1986, another source shows it as a 1984... boat is a 1985. Anyone know which is right? Thanks Jim
