    1985 johnson 185,preignition problem.

    Hi guys,havnt been on here in a while.I changed my plugs out today,and one cylinder has what looks like aluminum melted on my plug.Why is just one cylinder doing this? Any suggestions are appreciated,thanks in advance.

    starter problem

    my johnson 185,1985 model,the starter keeps spinning the engine after i turn ignition off.my friend said he did something to the wiring and i hae no idea what he did.never had problem before,any suggestions are welcome.

    My boat runs great Forward,but has throttle trouble in reverse.Any suggestions!!

    I rebuilt my carbs because could not get full throttle, now has great hole shot and speed.Today i launched my boat and had very little throttle in reverse but it doese go in reverse.And yes sir Mr racerone i found my REEDS!!!!! Thank you!!

    Does an outboard two stroke,have to have them?I was told they are behind the carbs.
