    I have a 61 johnson 40 hp tha I have a 61 johnson 40 hp that is missing the slow speed idle pin assemply (screws in in the middle of the carb) needless to say tha engne doesnt run without this piece. Ive tried local boat dealers but since such a old engine cant find any parts for it. any ideas...

    What type of gas goes in the tank

    " I am new boater/boat owner. " I am new boater/boat owner. I have a mercury 402 engine. What type of gas do I put in the tank. Is it the gas from the regular gas station pump, if so which one is it? Is there an additive for better performance or to protect the engine? Thanks for all helpful...
