    Merc 60 6hp

    I want to add a kill switch to this motor since it did not come with one and wanted to make sure I wire it correctly. Do I just add the two wires from the switch to the two ignition wires? Then flip the switch and it's a start/stop mode?

    Picked up a elto what I think is a 3hp 1940 4357-05903. Paid just a few bucks so I'm going to play around with it and see if I Will run. Clean and solid no rust or dirt. Decals almost gone. Anyway any parts out there for these motors? Any hidden traps regarding these old motors?
