    loosen outdrive oil

    ok here is the problem i found! before going to the lake checked my fluids everything was full! took boat out on the water got back just happened to raise the engine hatch just to look find the outdrive reservoir empty! what the hell! filled it back up doesnt hold much! notice a little oil...

    new jasper motor

    shifting cable

    boat shop is puting a new 350 long block in my 97 baja new carb. they said want idle said it needs a new shifting cable!!! dont make sense to me but i dont know!!! what do yall think??? thanks for yalls input.:confused:

    prop help!!

    my boat is a 20' baja closed bow 350 v-8 alpha 1 gen 2 mercruiser. my problem it has a 21 pitch stanless prop on it i also trim tabs that helped but still not right, when you stand on the throttle it runs up 2000 rpm then real slow two plane out. real boggy. i found a 18 pitch prop from iboat...

    ldler pulley question

    i have 97 350v-8 gm alpha.. my question is on the ldler pulley a shouldered bushing that goes into it and that is what goes over the adjusting stud, well that bushing is real sloppy inside the idler, is it supposed to be like that?? i would think it would be tight. i don"t know thats why i ask...

    fuel 1997 350

    ok have i have a question about fuel octane? have a 97 350 carb! what octane fuel should a person run in it? 87,89,92 or does it matter, i am in texas, any kind of additives? fuel is high here 3.79-4.00 gal, dont care might not make it to work, but i am going boatn in my baja. yep. thanks...

    goin to put new carb on my gm 350 v-8, it does have a performance cam in it, has been on there 3 + years edlebrock 750 cfm, i have to adjust on it all the time!! now i feel needs to replaced. i can smell gas sometimes, my question is should i put 750 back on it or 600?? what is the pros and...

    risers and manifolds temp 1997 350

    i have a 97 350 gm carb, while i had the muffs hooked the other day, i noticed that one manifold was hot, u could leave your hand on it, but the other one was cool,while running the engine, the temp on the gauge was 150-160 normal thats about what it runs, is this a concern?? thanks for any input

    what causes eletrodes to melt on the spark plug? where it comes out of the porcelin? its in a 350v-8 carbed. any ideas??

    motor mounts on a 97 baja

    ok on a 97 21' baja outlaw does anybody know what the two bolts that screw into the stringer. what do they screw into they act like they are stripped want tighten up!!! any ideas??? thanks anybody:)

    what will a person have to do what will a person have to do to change a thound erbolt ignition and get rid of that costly icm and put a msd dist. a 95 350v8 alpha? any ideas?
