    I replaced my trim motor which I replaced my trim motor which was not working. Now I am only getting power off the power distribution panel when i hit the down button. nothing on the up. I swithed the relays and the problen was the same. If anybody has any ideas.

    2003 Evinrude 175 gear oil

    I just drained my gear oil abo I just drained my gear oil about a half cup of water came out first and the oil was black not milky. I have never seen gear oil like that. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Oil

    I just bought a 2003 Eninrude I just bought a 2003 Eninrude 175hp Fitch. The person I bought it from said I had to use "special" oil from Evinrude. He said that the computerized engins can be picky and not run as well. I find it hard to belive that I can not use a quality oil from anyone?

    Head gasket or Rings

    I have a 1996 130hp Evinrude. I have a 1996 130hp Evinrude. I got a hole in my fuel line which staled the motor. I then replaced the line and i blew a cylinder. Three are at 120psi and the last is 25psi. Could this be just a head gasket? Hole in the piston? rings?If anybody has any ideas
