    what this tan wire is for? im guessing water temp or pressure? does not go to helm. only tan wire is a bullet connector off my accessories plug on controller

    if its a drain, shouldnt there be a plug there? or is it supposed to be open so it does not vapor lock? so to speak......i sure hope its normal . i dont want to wreck my engine.

    does noone have the same engine? anyone have any clues? would be nice to hear something.... before i decide to remove the lower unit .

    so far ive been told that i have to take my lower unit off to investigate this further, and one other says its normal. i need anyone with a 1991 mercury 4cyl 2 stroke outboard to verify that this is correct.... or if im missing something. ? or i have to actually take my lower unit off ? here...
