    Getting the brushes back in

    Can anyone tell me a trick to hold the springs back so I can get the stator back in? Mine are the type that sit behind the brush, not outside and beside it. I can do it with the magnet off but if I try to put the magnet back on after the stator is in, it pulls the stator out of place.
