    20 hp will not run right

    question? the motor should run at idle without opening the throttle butterfly at all? right question? how does one set the length of the throttle link? does anyone have a manual for a 1979 20hp? I have a manual for up to 1975 and it isn't helping much at all thank you

    power head interchange? 1978 70 hp

    I've got a 70 hp, can't find the serial # on it I think it's a 1978 I found a 1983 powerhead, looks the same in the pictures will they change out or not? thanks scott

    mercury 1978 70 hp 3 cyl can't find serial #

    I can't find the serial number on my 70 hp, says on the carb air inlet it's a 1978 butt there is no plate/sticker on the swivel post. EDIT ok I searched and found out about the welsch plug, can't find it butt it is dark out and hard to see, i'll look again tomorrow does this thing have 2...
