    starts and idles fine. try to go fast motor shuts down put carb kit in no change.

    the plate on the mounting bracket is gone. Can the model # and year be found anyplace else ? I think it is 1970s

    just bought this motor it hasn't been used for 2 years I have no spark. what can I check with out takeing it to a shop ?
