    I’ve tried it with it on and on. Tried it off to confirm the butterflies in the carb were all working. Don't seem to make a difference on or off. Would it matter likewise ?

    I took all electrical connections apart on the engine and cleaned / applied contact grease. Would that be on the engine or the throttle assembly ?
