    first time LU rebuild - 1988 DT85

    outboard is new to me, wanted to try my hands on a LU rebuild. Followed the service manual and took it apart. The bearing house got a lot of sand in it, what kind of cleaning solution should i use to clean that and the gears/shaft? it'll be a few weeks before i can put things back together...

    Suzuki DT85 1988 transmission oil seal orientation

    not meant to hijack your thread. I'm doing the task, do you have the part number for the driveshaft oil seal? couldn't find it on the parts diagram. thanks.
