    Evinrude 225 shift rod adjustment

    hi there, having issues with not engaging reverse after putting in new lower unit, goes into first and can get nuetral but no reverse. if i use a screw driver to pressure the linkage at top of shift rod a bit it engages reverse making me think the rod needs leangthening?? i cant find a manual...
