    Is this normal

    I have a 1969 18 horse Evinrude. When I start it and it is cold. The RPMs are quite high. But If I let it run for a couple of minutes. It slows up to a nice idle. When it is warm and I start it. It stays at a nice idle. Is this the way it is supposed to run.? thank you.
