    Starting hard

    I have a chaparral with a mercruiser 470, it is really sluggish when starting, almost like battery is dead, but its a new battery. After a few trys it turns over quicker and starts, could it be the ignition coil or silonoid?

    Fuel guage

    I have a 83' chaparral 187 with a mercruiser 470.. Everything works on the boat but the fuel guage, i know its electric, checked all fuses and still doesn't work. Tank is under the floor. Any ideas?
